<p>the pool isnt that interesting, nor is the basement of ida noyes. the tunnels do exist. the great thing about neo-gothic architecture such as that on uchicago’s campus is it provides some great views and has even some catacomb-like subterranean areas, quite clearly unbeknownst to the general populace. the steam tunnels are famed for their difficulty to enter, but once in you can get anywhere on campus. there probably wont be anyone in them to catch you, either. some slightly easier and equally cool places to go are the basement and subbasements of the older buildings, like harper. additionally, virtually all the roofs are accessible if you know the way but that carries the risk of losing your housing privileges. conclusion: if you know the right people you can go on some awesome adventures.</p>
