I applied on the 30th, mailed out my film portfolio the same day(that was the only thing put effort into doing)
plus i graduated last year, did not apply to colleges cuz i was too lazy
but i think my portfolio and work experience at local tv station blanced out my poor grades(~1600 sat and 3.7 gpa) and im dominican so urm
i did not get in to NYU yet but i am being considered for HEOP so they must had saw somthing they like and i dont even like NYU like cuz i lived in NYC my whole life so im sick of it lol</p>

<p>I’m hoping to get into Stern ED 1 with a 3.61 GPA from a tough private school and a 35 ACT. I don’t know if I have a shot. </p>

<p>IMO the only way you can get into Stern with a 3.6 - 3.7 UW GPA is if you have an extremely tough/toughest courseload. Besides that, I’d guess you’d have to have a 3.8 - 3.9</p>

Why: LOL no clue. Lots of ECs, passion, my supplement and personal statement were amazing, if I do say so myself.
If my grades and scores were stronger, I probably would’ve gotten into CAS, but I’m so excited to study abroad that it’s not a problem. </p>
