<p>I like UD a lot. I do. But saying “crime, what crime” the same week that there was a conviction in a murder case where the victim was a UD student is a little much. Newark is more or less a safe place, but UD does have thefts, assaults, vandalism and sometimes violent crime – probably no more or less than you would expect at a large university that’s not out in the middle of nowhere.</p>
