<p>Shogun isn’t kidding – one of my son’s best friends wore the mess dress (at her Mom’s request) to the All Service Academy Ball their plebe year. After being handed a used glass by one attendee, and asked by another one if it would be possible to get an additional bottle of wine, she swore never to wear it again. For the next three years I saw her only in cadet Full Dress… ;)</p>
