University of California Transfer Students Fall 2007 OFFICIAL THREAD!!!

I just realized that I took one class(Math4a) to meet the Math 1A prereq. class for Cal when i needed to take two (Math 4a and 4b), i did however take the Math 1B and Multivariable classes at another UC. Will this be a problem?? If so what should i do?

what’s the course name of math4a?

into to calculus 1 or something, it was foothill college

it was derivatives at cc, I did integral calculus, multivariable calc, linear algebra etc. at a UC

what is the link to the acceptance rates to UCs by rates?? cant find it in this giant thread and it makes me wait 60 seconds every time i search dammit.

no problem at all :D

whats all this ucla/cal stuff? there’s no correlation. they make decisions independent of each other.

I just talked to my Honors Coordinator.
I am required to take 15 units of honors courses in order to be TAP certified, but will not complete the 15. Turns out I will only have 13 by the end of this semester because I am not going to complete the optional portion of one of my classes that would make it honors. He said that UCLA accepted me based on course work I had already completed and there are likely to be no ramifications for students who do not complete their intended honors work.

At what time is the last updates for ucla decision?

EDIT:

15 international students admitted to haas last year.

no east indian/pakistani transfers to haas last year

and a total of seven in the last three years. WOW LOLS IM BONEDD

Wow Sidekick that is nice. Two people in our honors programs were not able to complete what they put on their TAP contract and our honors coordinator contacted UCLA and had their TAP certification retracted. They both ended up getting in on their own without TAP however.

haas is crazy

For those of you who got into UCLA, what do you guys currently see on your URSA page?

coast -
i see a link for accepting or declining admission, and two other buttons for updating personal info and email

peep2. Sorry man, but I think you’re screwed.

There’s less than two months left for both semester and quarter systems, so you can try looking; however, I doubt that you’ll find one. I’m sorry :T

OK cool, thanks bobbak. That’s what I see too, although I already accepted admission. :D

For those of you who got accepted to UCLA, are you able to make Bruin Webmail account?

Don’t you have to accept admission b4 making an account?

^^ doing so before submitting your SIR is against policies… which might get you in trouble

oh i see thanks for the warning lol :)

Well I tried to make one but it said I already made one so… =/
