University of California Transfer Students Fall 2007 OFFICIAL THREAD!!!

not difficult at all…

anyone that saw Fin Aid for UCLA got rejected??

Double-majoring as a transfer student is not difficult - it’s just not very typical among transfer students.

Have completed at least 90 units and no more than 135 units

Have at least a 2.50 overall GPA

Have completed a majority of the prerequisites for both majors

Be able to satisfy the requirements for BOTH majors, including 10 upper-division courses (40 units) unique to each major

Be able to complete the two majors in no more than 240 units

Meet with both departments or programs and your college to discuss your academic plan

For example, I have a 3.5, have finished all lower-division for IS and will have completed all lower-division for POLI, and will be eligible for double-majoring as of fall 2007.

well now i play the waiting game…again…
according to the admissions counselor “hypothetically” i shouldnt have my admissions revoked, but they still wanted me to fill out the problem form…

what do u mean waiting game? they put your file back under review?

they have 15 days to notify me and let me know if my admissions will still stand or if im f-ed :(

did you turn in your sir and what class r u tryin to drop?

UCB decision times. the date posted on the site is when decisions are posted:

bobbak, did you tell them to pass the acceptance to me? :D

i havent turned in my SIR, not sure why not yet. and its way past our drop deadline at my school so i have to take a D in an elective. she said since its not a pre-req and since im still IGETC cert. that it shouldnt be a problem.

yeah, i dont think it will be. Dont worry about it.

haha no i ran out of room sorry.
if i get revoked ill write it in my hate letter ;)

so, is there any other ways that ur acceptance could be revoked??

heavymetal…

What is the lowest GPA that you guys have heard of getting into HAAS

xferstd, did you apply? their range is 3.76-4.0 but thats bottom and top 10%, average 3.91

yup i applied, but im just reading all these post where 3.8-4.0s with TAP are getting rejected from UCLA and 3.2s are getting accepted…so i just wanted to know from what you have heard as far as the LOWEST getting into Haas. i’ve heard of a 3.6 getting in but that was through a friend of a friend of a friend…
