Hopefully!! Supposedly if you don’t have it for UChicago it’s either an acceptance/rejection, 'cause previous trends say if u have it it’s a deferral/waitlist. But then again, it’s portal astrology so we can’t trust it LMAOOO. We’ll seee!!!

probs an acceptance! Not to be optimistic, but since you had great essays and (if I can assume, since you are on this thread), good stats, you are in! They only really reject EA applications with a) negative LORs b) extremely low stats <3.3 UW c) two sentence essays. also means I haven’t, so hoping that its a deferral for me lol

i reported on common app and self reported just to make sure because common app didn’t have the message about excluding the scores on my pdf, so i though uchicago just didn’t download them from common app. i have the display button.

i heard uchicago defers qualified EA applicants just so they switch to ed2 so UChicago can up their yield. is a deferral a good enough sign to switch to ed2 ( and get accepted ) or is it too vague?
