Non-US institutions, most of them anyway, emphasize technical knowledge. Singapore won’t have any sort of liberal arts institution until the Yale-NUS joint project is completed. </p>
<p>2) Chicago is known for its theoretical approach as opposed to technical knowledge. This is confirmed by students, their program style, and even employers.</p>
