DD did not receive merit, yet NPC does estimate $7k. Does anyone know if there is an appeal process we should be following instead of calling/emailing? TIA!
@jasp There is a merit appeal and a financial aid appeal process/form online. You need to look at the financial aid page on the website. It has a link to the merit appeal. We were told decisions for appeals come out mid-April. The NPC did not calculate for our family. It said $10,000 but didn’t come out to be that.

I got an invitation to interview for the Workd Scholars Progran even though I said no on the common app. Anybody know if this is optional??! bc my parents won’t let me and I’m not interested either lol.
@priscillaleo1 I got in with a 3.0 uw and 3.3 w. Very good essays and a 25 ACT score. Upward trend and a lot of AP’s and honors. Decent ec’s like president of 2 clubs and 2 sports. It’s not always about the grades! (:

Would writing a letter to the admissions board have any effect on their decision? I’m pretty sure there’s a space for this on Common App but would it in any way make them hinder their decision if some things on my record look concerning? Does anyone know

My daughter just declined her admission and $12,000 a year scholarship last week. Hopefully that will help make way for someone on the waitlist. She is going to Temple. Best of luck everyone.
