He had only checked the portal once right after he submitted the application to make sure everything was received, so not sure if there were any changes before the decision.

This wait is killing me. DS portal changed in Monday and I was sure he would hear tonight. Fingers crossed for all !

So apparently UD has been sending Thanksgiving emails telling ppl admissions is closed all next week. My kid didnt get the email but I think that this whole process sucks.

Also have not heard anything. I was so sure she’d hear today but I see now that she only had the partial change to the portal.

The email has a picture of the admissions team throwing leaves… it has a very “you got in” celebratory vibe…
then you read it…
hope cometh, hope goeth away. 
The process is hard but I much prefer the rolling process to EA, that wait is FOREVER.

D24’s portal changed on Thursday, but no decision has been posted. Guess we wait a few more weeks.

The throwing leaves email/vid has been used for years. My son got the same exact one four years ago. We had heard yes already, but many had not, and the consensus was not positive!

Consensus from the parents that is; obv the email was no kind of indicator.Just an annoyance.
Wow. I don’t know why we didn’t get that email… but I’m glad we didn’t.
D24 did not get that email either. Odd that only some people received it.
