So with so many applicants doing 10,20,30 etc schools, admissions has a tough time knowing actual yield rate versus past years

That’s true, they could be selecting more this year to account for an anticipated decrease in yield. Probably wishful thinking though.

Yeah, it means nothing. They have not shared any info with housing yet.

Housing has not received any info on admitted students, so you shouldn’t rely on that to see if you were admitted.
