D24 (OOS) accepted. Also accepted into University Research Scholars Program and selected for Admissions Honors scholarship of $6K/year. She (and we) are ecstatic. Stats are 4.7 weighted/1500 SAT.

Accepted OOS with Honors, 4.8/4.0, National Merit Finalist. SAT 1570 super-score (unless they super-score also the reading and writing, in which case 1590). Question… they say “In addition, you have been selected to participate in the UF University Research Scholars Program, or URSP, and awarded the Admissions Honors scholarship of $6,000 over four consecutive years.” I assume that is $1,500 per year, am I correct?

My daughter got the same thing. It says that student will complete a minimum of 15 credit hours and two semesters through UF online. After completing a total of 60 credit hours and all major requirements for the major, students are eligible to transition to campus to complete their degree. That is from their website. Makes it easy to say no way.

Yes it says “We are also pleased to notify you that based on your superior accomplishments, you are admitted to the UF Freshman Honors Program” in the letter!
