I echo what others have posted. I am very familiar with both schools - I attended Loyola nursing and my spouse went to UIC for social work. If your son plans to live on campus - Loyola is the way to go. There is much more community. If your son will be a commuter, then that is less relevent. Overall, there is usually more support for students at Loyola, but I cannot speak to the business school, so if he can visit classes, and talk to a professor from each school that can make a big difference. Good news is, he has a bit of time, if you are local, visits should be manageable.
