We are actually aware of a Spring Admit last year who appealed and was able to get in for the fall. Evidently the schoolās college counselor made some calls. However, this is the exception to their standard policy.

Iām confused about what Carrilon is. I see itās a LLP but is it for all majors or only computer science? My daughter got accepted to Carrilon but thereās no mention in his letter about Computer Science. Thank you!

I believe they all say that, my DD23 was accepted and her email said:
Thank you for your continued interest in the University of Maryland (UMD). The Admission Committee has carefully reviewed your application and a decision is now available within your [Terps Application Portal]. After logging in, select the View Your Decision Letter button for details.
