Maryland’s portal has two glitches. The first is just that your application date completion is updated to the current date you log in, so people often misinterpret this as a decision being made on that date.
And, unless the issue has been addressed/corrected, the second glitch is that the day before decisions are released, there are SOME students that will have a housing/dining link that appears in their portal.
When people start to notice that, then it is time to get excited, because (at least for the past four years) decisions come out the next day. Do not be concerned if you see a lot of people post that the link appears in their account and you don’t have one in yours…it is not a definitive indicator of admission, as some students that did not have it did report they were admitted.
