OK so I just called the admissions office to ask if I got a scholarship or a merit scholarship and they said that they released the decisions by accident so it’s a glitch and like he couldn’t tell me whether not I was admitted but he said it probably should be correct they just can’t guarantee it until today, tomorrow or next week when the official decisions will be posted and he literally said I don’t understand how they messed that up because everyone got their decisions and he said when the official letters come out is when people will know how much money they recieved
I got deferred. I just don’t get it - my scores are significantly higher than most of the people accepted on here. I’m from an underrepresented state. I have tons of extracurriculars, clubs, activities.
New information – just spoke to admissions (student volunteer) – clearly this early electronic release was a glitch - but he did say that he assumes the check mark and “Admitted” means your in however, he could not “officially” confirm it…as for all of you “green circle” – I asked if this means not getting in and he had no idea - but that the updates “could” come out today/tomorrow or next week…Miami has really botched this roll out. Just going to log off now and check later tonight…he did also say that an email should come to your emails.

My d was wait listed - just got a letter. So sad, I really thought she would get an acceptance. ACT 33 SAT 1400 GPA 4.95 - AP’s with a 5, 1 Presidential volunteer award, internship, applied in Marine Science. Congrats to all who got accepted!
