Just spoke to AO and they said decisions will be released on Friday. My account has the green dot which just appeared this morning.

@bleedorangebaby same here. But I didn’t apply for any scholarships so I’m hoping that’s why I didn’t get an email and praying that I still have a chance of getting in.

@benfortin I didn’t apply for scholarships either so that might be why we didn’t get the email because technically it was the FA office’s mess up, not admissions.

@benfortin Umiami is definitely a reach school for me so if i were to be admitted I would not be expecting merit aid. I also did not do any extra scholarship essays

My S’s canelink has the green circle. Don’t know if it was always there, but it is there now. Also, it always said incomplete because he is auditioning and until that happened they said it would continue to be incomplete. However, he hasn’t auditioned yet, but it now says complete with the green circle. Hhhhmmm

@12345hii go on the actual canelink, not mobile canelink and click on student center. then scroll all the way down to the new “admissions” tab below your personal information. that’s where you’ll find the green dot, if your account has one.

I would caution all against considering the green circle a ‘good sign’ other than it’s a good sign that your application is complete. UM is a far reach for my son and he too has a green circle
I have my doubts that he’ll get accepted. Its a long shot for him.

I received the FedEx email yesterday but I have no admissions tab

D is an international aplicant but did not get an email from Fedex like the other internationals did, so 99% she didn’t get in. From the other posts from internationals, the email said the package will be send on 31st, so that should be the day decisions are coming out.
She also didn’t receive the email about the message on canelink with merit scholarship. If she would have been accepted, my guess is she would have gotten merit as well (3.96 UWA, 1450 SAT, tons of EC).
She does have the green dot for Admission tab, so that probably means nothing.

Green dot is only on canelink full site NOT on mobile.
This doesn’t mean a thing. Everyone should have it. Everyone is reading way too much into this. Looks like Friday is the day.

I didn’t receive an email yesterday:/ hoping it doesn’t mean anything bad but if international students are getting packages shipped tomorrow wouldn’t that mean that they come out tomorrow??
