As an FYI, if the college has not announced that decisions have been released, I work under the assumption that any account that was created 5 nanoseconds before their first post and proclaims an acceptance is a spammer, and I will ban that account. Which is what I did here.
The decisions will be released when the decisions are released. Anything not posted on the admissions website, in an email from admissions, etc., is just reading the tea leaves. Please refrain from asking for proof.
To put things in perspective, I am told that in the olden days before the magma cooled and while dinosaurs roamed the earth, kids had to wait by a thing called a mailbox until a person dressed in blue walked up at an unspecified date and time with an envelope containing their decisions.

wow this was a crazy 45 min ride for this thread lol. hopefully decisions come out FOR REAL SOON. it’s sad that people really resorted to making fake AO accounts like…what are you gaining from that??? anyways, i wish everyone the best of luck!

That same person posted last Friday in UNC stating she got accepted. They banned her as well
You have to feel sorry for these people. I’m guessing they don’t get out much.
My mother called Miami and she said that the AO said my letter yesterday including merit scholarship was correct and that the “decision is yet to be populated by Friday” idk what that part means but her first language isn’t English lol. Hope this helps everyone

i dont understand the point of causing such undue stress. we’re all in this together whats the point in creating a fake account to make people nervous?
My guess is that they were possibly denied ED and upset so want to cause commotion.
@benfortin doesn’t everyone that apply to UM is automatically considered for scholarships?
@d00rmanjack yes, all applicants are automatically considered for the Presidential award.
Does anyone know around what time (hour) does UM announce the decisions?
