GUYS. I just checked Miami’s CDS page and they recently uploaded the 2018-2019 year CDS (last year’s) and it says EA DECISION DATE: JAN 31!!
Look @ section C22 for EA info
Acceptance rate last year was about 32.1%
I hope this is helpful!

I’m hoping we find out tomorrow!
So if it is tomorrow, does someone know what time we should be expecting it?
@benfortin i think last year they started releasing them just after 2:30pm EST? someone correct me if i am wrong!
I probably won’t get it. I have a 3.75 GPA and 29 ACT. Applied for College of Engineering. It’s definitely a reach. Does anyone know if their engineering school is competitive/hard to get into?
@benfortin my gpa is lower than yours, it’s a huge reach for me. i applied to the college of arts and sciences. not sure what majors are competitive at miami but i’ll look it up rn
@sagh527 finally someone with concrete info
@benfortin not sure if this means “competitive” but US News says miami’s most popular majors are
1.) Business/Marketing/Management
2.) Biological & Medical Sciences
3.) [All] Social Sciences
4.) Health Proffessions and Related Programs
5.) Communications/Journalism/Related Programs
I can’t find out any information about how many direct admit nursing students they accepted last year… Any other potentil nursing students out there?
fsu is coming out tomorrow but im not sure if that is going to affect anything
me @Waiting2023
stats?
@ikonwxrld i don’t think it’ll affect anything. again, i’m not 100% certain it’s tomorrow even though the common data set says 1/31. i’m just hoping it is because this is my last EA school and it’s taking forever
@ikonwxrld what would it affect??
Wow looking at the CDS they wait listed 10,405 students and 4,041 accepted and only 30 admitted…
@Waiting2023 D19 applied to nursing. ACT 30 4.0 UW GPA
@DCNatFan that’s usually how it goes with waitlists unfortunately :(( i like to think of it as a nice way of saying no
I have a 30 ACT also good luck! @SAD1010
@sagh527 Putting 30% (10,405) of the applicants on the wait list is a bit excessive when they know they won’t be accepting nearly that many. I guess they are covering themselves. Most schools we have looked at put about 10% on the wait list.
1390 SAT 3.70 UW GPA Top 10 % of class 9 AP classes 4 years SGA, NHS, Class Officer, Clubs and 4 years of sport… Legacy too
Also waiting for FSU’s decision
