I just got a private message from admissions giving me my decision letter, but my application status changed in the first wave

Very anticlimactic I opened my canelink and just saw a check with ā€œadmittedā€. There was no new message notif so I didnā€™t even realize there was an official letter haha. Super happy though!

so basically on the main website, go to application status and where it says student center, there is an arrow, and click that, then it will show you, my decision letter was available, I GOT IN YAYYYY

I suspect if the status stays as ā€œApplicantā€ it likely means waitlist, which is basically a denial.
