My son was accepted with 2 and even received a Premier merit scholarship and Honors program.
Decisions are out. Daughter was waitlisted after being deferred.
waitlisted. Do they accept many off the waitlist historically?
No. I think I saw yesterday that they only admitted 115 last year (out of over 20,000 put on waitlist).
Waitlisted. Not accepting spot; other offers that make more sense than $80,000+ per year for me!
Seems like you need to apply ED1 or ED2 to go this school. They want to keep their admissions rate low
Same for my daughter! It all works out for the best!
Yes Miami is a great school but 90k a year not worth it when higher ranked state schools admit youā¦unless you really want to be in Miami which of course is a cool place to be⦠congrats to all who got in!
Where is your daughter considering? Iām between Stetson where I got a full tuition scholarship, and Baylor where I got accepted into the Honors Program and BIC program; just waiting to see what other scholarships I get from those programs. Iām also waiting on a scholarship from Florida Tech to see if I can get that amount down into the low 20s.
Just curious mid anyone received merit aid that applied ED and test optional? We have a 2025 who is interested in Miami so trying to get a sense of the merit offered during ED and if anyone would mind sharing stats? Thanks!
any expectations for ability to get off the waitlist?
Does anyone know when housing opens?? Or an estimated date when it does?
Notification by June 15th.
Did you wind up getting into UMiami?
