University of Miami Fall 2018 Transfer

i just can’t imagine they would wait another two weeks thats crazy

I think the decisions are on a rolling basis and depend on when you finished your application but I could be wrong Iol

Hey guys! I also got accepted yesterday but I have a question about Financial aid. I only live with my mom and it’s asking me for a noncustodial parent profile, tax return and w2 but I’m not contact with my father… what should I do

Hey everyone,

Financial Aid Packages have posted on Canelink. I got the Coral Grant of $30K a year! Btw you should be able to see your transfer credit report on Canelink.

Go Canes!

hmm yea mine was completed march 7th

I think you should be hearing back soon then

@maraya09 Call the financial aid department, they’ll give you the answers that you need.

@ruizjeancarlo I just hope I get accepted in time to register for the classes that I need.

Has anyone heard anything today?

Hey everyone,

I got accepted yesterday and it was such an amazing feeling I hope you all get in!

I am a sophomore currently attending Florida Gulf Coast University with a 3.71 GPA with 2 strong recommendation letters and a lot of extra curricular activities.

I am currently searching for roommates to live with me off campus at one of the surrounding apartment complexes. If you want to contact me follow me on ig @thelifeofchann and we can talk!

This group has been awesome can’t wait to meet you all!

Hi guys I got accepted yesterday for microbiology and immunology!

I’ve been lowkey following this thread but I haven’t hear anything back yet @JArenas06 My app was deemed complete Jan 23rd…

@donuts27 Congrats!! That’s also the program I applied for.

Guys, I currently have have a 3.59 GPA. On the acceptance letter, they mentioned that admission is pending final grades. There is a chance that I might not pass one of my classes, which might drop my GPA to 3.45 or 3.40 worst case scenario. Would they withdraw their acceptance if that happens? I shouldn’t be thinking about what if I fail but I can’t help but prepare for worst case scenarios. I want to make sure nothing happens before I officially tell my current University that I’m transferring. I hope someone could provide me with some info or experience with this. Thanks!

Nope not at all. You’d have to drop to about a 2.8 I would think. @CaliBoyDownSouth I doubt even with a 3.0 they’d withdraw

They always have to put that disclaimer in case someone decides to fail all their classes and expects to still get in, but you’re fine 100% @CaliBoyDownSouth

@tatidee123 thank you so much! I definitely feel a lot better now.

After the initial batch has anyone else gotten notified?

nope, nothing yet.

nothing here too
