University of Miami Fall 2018 Transfer

I got in!!! But only with a $15K scholarship :frowning:

I mean I’m really grateful but tuition is just so expensive… and I’m a local lol

Oh yeah I’ll post my stats:

Applied to the Business School (got into school of arts and sciences only because I have calc in progress)
Application completed: 2/22
Currently attending a community college in Miami
High School GPA: 4.00 (unweighted) 4.87 (weighted)
College GPA: 4.00
Did not send SAT/ACT
86 units/credits so far
Clubs: SO many from high school but only PTK in college
Jobs: Worked full time during freshmen year

Accepted on 4/25 with the Presidential Scholarship ($15,000)

Just found out my application hasn’t even been reviewed yet. That’s so good :slight_smile:

how did you find that out ?? @JArenas06

when will they send out decisions? i got in already but my friend has not heard back

I got in with the president’s scholarship, the UM coral grant and effective access resident grant! I am transferring from the university of south florida with 57 credits and a 3.7 gpa

do you have to live on campus as a transfer? pls lmk asap!!!

@transfer1999 no you dont

@gigiiris r u sure? im so nervous

@Smdanc I called admissions and asked about the current status of my application

@transfer1999 yes. a spoke with admissions a few weeks ago and they said it is not mandatory. i will not be living on campus

anyone hear back today?

@gigiiris thank you!

I have nothing yet guess another week of waiting

I wish I knew whether to spend money and send out other apps or not…like this is crazy…I had my part of the application in on March 1st…my school didn’t but we are almost 2 months after I turned my stuff in!

This is ridiculous

they said they would post my decision by today at 6:00pm but I’m starting to doubt that :confused:

@Hockeyfan1 They do! They really are rolling admissions. I got an email at exactly 6:01pm. And the day before I got my email some other people got their decisions too.

If you got a decision this week will you share when Miami decided your application was complete?
