Remember there are probably a lot of students applying and there is also delays with stuff because of COVID-19.

Do you guys think we will actually hear back tomorrow? I can’t deal with another sleepless night being too excited to hear back then nothing coming hahah. I’m so impatient.
I hope so, but probably not. Last week they said it would be a couple of weeks, so I’m thinking more next week or the week after.
Hi just joined the thread! I do not think they have been told an exact time they will be sending it out. Glad I’m not the only one wondering the same thing, happy I found this thread. I have been told Mid April as well, hopefully we get some good news soon!

Just saw at the UM website that they changed the priority deadline to May 1
Wow I didn’t see that coming at all. They must’ve had a pretty small number of applicants if they decided they needed to extend it until May. I highly doubt a decision release will happen today now.
I hope that doesn’t affect the date they will release decisions. Priority deadline usually means that it is by when students should apply for fall semester. It could have been pushed back because of the COVID-19 situation.
I just called and they told me that decisions will not be going out until Mid May.
No way. Really hope they actually meant April.
I also called and was told early to mid May as well, so it looks like the waiting continues.

Please keep in mind, that while there may be a delay because of COVID (or anything else), admissions NEVER, EVER EVER, tells anyone exactly when decisions will be coming out. EVER. They may say “mid-April or May”, and then release the next day! I am a mom of four, and have gone through this process four times. It doesn’t matter what school…unless they have a definitive date, admissions will NEVER tell you. We all just have to be patient (my rising sophmore is hoping to transfer in for fall, I already have a rising junior at UM) Waiting stinks, even for us parents, but we have to do it!
Yes I believe that they truly don’t know. I just emailed my admissions officer last week and she said mid april so I am still holding on to that

I just got off the phone with admissions and they initially said may and I asked if they pushed back the release date? They said they’re releasing the decisions periodically and to check cane link. So I asked if they’ve already started going out and I was told yes to just check cane link. It kind of sounded like she was trying to get me off the phone though.
so they have already released some? interesting has everyone checked their cane link today?? maybe theres something in there. nothing in mine
@Judger321 idk man. I think she was saying whatever she thought I wanted to hear to get me off the phone. I don’t have anything on cane link either. I’m going to call again in an hour with the hope that I’ll get a different person to see if I get a different answer.
