Do you mind if I ask how much your household income was? Just wondering because I didn’t receive any grants.
@cwilson22 yes I am.
@AVic22 My household is around the upper middle class income range, but we incurred costly medical bills. I also had a 3.94 GPA and strong extracurriculars and essay so I believe that all kind of contributed to it.
@blueaqua do you know which residential halls transfers are put into? I know that this past year they shifted things a little between new and existing students and their dorms because of the new housing projects and closing of Stanford.
@cwilson22 I do not. I know that the lakeside village is more for sophomores and a few upperclassman. That’s a question I was thinking about as well but I’m just applying for lakeside village and pearson. When you’re applying for housing it allows you to pick from 3 maybe 4 houses so i don’t think transfers have to be in the same house.
PSA: i’ve been watching the UM Admissions facebook lives and they said they will be having a live on April 22nd about transfers. Not sure if it’s confirmed yet but just an fyi so you guys can get more information.
Do any of you know how the long the presidents scholarship can be renewed for?

@kunis19 no clue man. I hope so. Although everyone has been saying they’re released at 2 week intervals…seeing as the first batch came out last wednesday the next should come out next wednesday.
@blueaqua Do you know if they are holding the live on facebook for transfers today? I haven’t been able to find anything about it.
Accepted! Came in late today at 4:09 so probably means they’re just sending them out randomly on Wednesdays.
3.5 CC GPA (this kind of doesn’t explain it all, I had a 3.9 but tanked it down last sem, my midterm report was all As and 1B) wasn’t awarded any scholarships or financial aid so we’ll see how that plays out.

i got all my materials sent in by the 30th of March and I got accepted for Business Analytics
