Still nothing. Applied to School of Business.

@duckyyy when was ur decision posted

@ArchLiving Login to your Canelink account, click Go To Student Center, and check the Communication Center. Mine says I have two communications: one for UGRD EA App Received, and one for the acceptance letter.

@novagurl123 I received the acceptance envelope in the mail today after school. I checked my Canelink account afterwards and the letter was posted there too. I live in South FL, less than an hour away, if that helps.

What I don’t understand is why I didn’t receive it in the mail either today… I live like fifteen minutes away. If they were all mailed at once I should’ve gotten it today.

PSA: For everyone who doesn’t know where to look, I circled in red where the decision appeared for me.
http://img ur. com/kJTMR11 (re put together the link college confidential wouldn’t let me post it)

My Canelink was just updated in the communications center, I live on the West Coast! On a side note - has anyone else tried to RSVP for the Stamps/Singer weekend and had a problem? I know the computer system hasn’t been working so well this year, but I’m starting to get nervous that I won’t be able to RSVP :(

I printed out the letter and it states that academic scholarships will be decided at the end of March. It is hard for a student to get excited about an admissions if he doesn’t know whether it’s financially doable. aLot of kids here on cc got already acceptances with merit awards…it is not smart in my opinion that Miami holds off so long. many kids now start envision themselves at the financially attractive schools and will start thinking less and less about Miami. if Miami is interested in keeping its yield it should change its process. This is my 2 cents… I am sure admin officers read these blogs once the hectic admissions time is over. I hope they learn from the comments.

@Calmomofthree - have you checked in the communication center? My Canelink says I’ve been accepted and then in the letter in the communication center it tells me the merit money I will be receiving.

@grizzly32 was it just updated recently? like within the last five minutes / after 8 oclock?

Accepted into the nursing program!!!

Actually sort of surprised because my SAT and ACT were really low for Miami (1840 & 27). sort of expected a rejection letter haha.
I guess my GPA and class rank helped me out. (4.0 unweighted and top 5%)
Whatever I’m really excited though because Miami is my top choice!! Just hoping for a decent financial aid package now. Congrats to everyone else!

@novagurl123 I checked it at about 5:30 mountain time and it had not been updated, then I checked it again at about 6:05 and it was in!

Do you guys think it’s too late for decisions to be posted?

@melanied9 I don’t think it’s too late, it seems like it’s an auto-response system so I think decisions may keep coming out even after the offices are closed! I received mine at 6pm mountain time, so 8pm eastern, well after the offices were closed. I would just keep refreshing your Canelink through the night!

To those of who received scholarships where are you viewing your scholarship award? Did everyone who got a scholarship also get the stamp/singer invite?

@boyer3 my scholarship was in the communication center. I went to the communication center, then in my acceptance letter it had merit info! I’ve seen some people who got the Stamp/Singer, some who just got Singer and a few others who only got merit money. It seems like most of the people who received large amounts of merit money got an invite of some type, but it wasn’t guaranteed.
