University of Michigan Ann Arbor Class of 2022 Early Action

Finally changed to early action- qualified

@Natalie1227 Did you get an email? I submitted on the 31st too but I haven’t got any update

@ballin2022 I did not receive an email, I only know because the status changed on my Wolverine Access account

@Natalie1227 Oh ok. It hasn’t changed for me on the access account. I’ll just keep waiting a few more days.

@ballin2022 I read the class of 2021 UMich thread and people said their account didn’t change to qualified until the end of November so I’m sure you’re fine

S emailed about his ā€œrequestedā€ status and they replied that it was a ā€œmulti-step processā€ and takes them time to process all of the applicants, so no one should panic yet.

It usually starts announcing the Friday before Christmas Eve. This year may be even a week earlier as there is no business day after that Friday.

Phew, we are EA-Qualified~
(Submitted on Halloween)

qualified here too. Submitted 10/31

Submitted mine on 10/31 as well and I just got qualified today

submitted mine 10/31 also, and got qualified today. Good luck guys, and GO BLUE!

Any word on the decision day? I’ve heard that it might be before the 24th

Applied on halloween early action-qualified! was so scared because sent me October test scores when they said not to…

Hi guys, I need some help. I sent my ACT, SAT, SAT2, and AP scores and turned in my application on November 1st, and everything arrived on time except my ACT scores. Its been 3 weeks and they still haven’t arrived. I also paid extra money for all my scores to be rushed. What should I do? I contacted UM and they said to keep waiting, but this was over a week ago and it still shows as ā€œnot receivedā€ in my college portal. Should I contact ACT?

last year it was the 21st, so im assuming some time around then. earlier would be amazing

What was 21st?

@jchoibokchoi I believe it was the release of the early action decisions last year.

RE: HAIL interview, my son received an email around Nov 11 saying his interviewer should be contacting him for an interview. However, he still hasn’t heard from him. Should we contact the school to follow up?

@CafeDeb My son is in the same boat. The email did state that if they had not heard from the interviewer by 11/20 the kids could reach out to them.

@pbswim I noted you stated that you sent SAT and ACT scores as well as AP scores. AP scores don’t need to be sent to the college, simply self-reported on the common app. If there are questions (example, you self report a 5 but got a C in the class, or reported an A in the class and reported a 2), then the university will contact you. Otherwise, save the $15 or so per university and just self report.
