Sorry, 4.0, 1540 (770/770) solid ECs but nothing unusual, though she did do a 2 week summer program at their Michigan Math and Science Scholars, which I believe is medium-competitive, not sure how much that may have influenced the decision.
Deferred, Aerospace Engineering. OOS, 3.99/4.91 UW/W, 1550 SAT. Hmmph.

Postponed OOS 4.0UW, internship in field, 8 APs all 5 for one’s taken 1570 SAT tons of leadership in ECs. Chem E was what he applied for.
Time to move on. At Michigan a deferral is typically a denial.
