Stats are great, but if they come from over-involved parents, it may be setting a kid up for a big letdown later, like when top stat kids don’t get into or are deferred at top-tier schools; but most of all, when they are competing with self-motivated competitors in the real world.
Your daughter has proven she can handle the real world. She’ll do well wherever she lands, and will make her own path in this world. Enjoy watching her do so…
To tell you the fact, I had no idea about the AP courses, dual enrollment, IB Diploma (even though my own daughter was one) until this fall… lol… I had to learn all these things real quick to be able to have a conversation with her about her college admissions… I’m really proud of my D25 for having navigated everything on her own and doing well despite ignorant parents.
