<p>Exactly. Michigan could do things much more quickly if they only accepted those with the highest GPA and ACT scores. It would probably be a miserable campus full of math wizard valedictorians, lol. </p>

<p>Well… as we read this post, daily…and more often than we are to mention – both my Mom and I Loved this classic video, which was definitely close to her era! Times were a bit simpler, and all she had to do was hand write a paper college application and send it through the mail. No EA, no deferrals, either you were in… or out. Great reading all of these posts!<br>

<p>How is Michigan contacting admits? are they sending emails? I forget my password into my wolverine access…</p>
<p>@dudefromMA good luck to you! And they email you your decision, and it also shows up in wolverine access. The actual email has the decision in it, it doesnt tell you to check your wolverine account</p>
<p>Do you think they are notifying the in-state applicants before the out of states? That seems realistic</p>
<p>They could be doing it based on schools… No one from my school has heard back after a bunch of us got deferred in December</p>

<p>@yeveat typically, no. however, recently there has been a pattern of people seeing it on their WA first. so it’s pretty much a toss up.</p>

<p>Don’t let UMich get you down guys. I understand too, I’m very anxious but we need to stick to our lives. You can’t let others bring you down. Worry about being the best you that you can be and although it seems eternal, the wait will end and you will receive your decision. Whether it’s the decision you want or not, you will end up where you are supposed to be. Again, don’t let the muggles get you down.</p>

<p>I applied for early action then got deferred and is still waiting… its frustrating how all my friends got accepted and im still waiting…</p>
<p>@posterguy ohhh no that’s not what I meant. They are not completely on rolling basis but people who send their applications early tend to get their results early too. And Michigan just has such a big applicant pool that they can’t really release all the results at the same time, so sometimes people who applied earlier get results almost a month ahead of the others… </p>
<p>This is bad…I just got waitlisted literally everywhere and Michigan put me on an indefenite wait.</p>
<p>I’m also waiting for my acceptance…still… all my friends got accepted … </p>
