Actually I checked comments from recent years UMich deferred applicants and I believe the last admitted was on April 26. Literally everything is possible here.
This is annoying. Most of us will end up yield protected anyways
but like by that time I might have already committed somewhere else. Like I love Michigan but this is unbelievable to me. I get that it’s hard When so many people apply, but there are tons of schools with piles of applications and they make it by the date. It’s just insane to me.

I was deferred ea and didn’t receive a decision tonight… I may be crazy but I believe that on the screen that appears when you first login to wa (not the page with the view decision page), I just had a new tab titled “my scholarship profile” appear?? I don’t remember seeing it before
Little ironic how I was so psyched for rolling admissions and yet this is one of the last schools to get a decision from.
What time does it usually come out?
Honestly this is so frustrating…I’ve been anxiously checking the portal every friday and all I see is the same deferral letter. The more frustrating thing is that I might have to do this until the end of April…ughhh so stressed!!! :-??

Waiting to hear on my daughters application. Was in this same position with my other kid 2 years ago, she did not hear until first week of April, denied (legacy means nothing). But, some of her classmates were accepted at that time & many were given guaranteed transfer status. 2 of them did transfer per that offer at beginning of their sophomore year and it worked out for them. Michigan is amazing but so are a lot of schools! Check back next week lol
