University of Michigan Fall 2018 Transfer Thread

@Elena1355 I’m having a rough time with that as well; I did, however, pay the $300 dollar enrollment fee, & my fafsa.

@Jd12345 I emailed them and they said they would give me access to the application next week. I paid the deposit on Monday so that’s why it takes a while. If you paid it sometime this week you should expect access to it next week

@Jd12345 @elena1355 how long did it take you guys to get your letters in the mail??

@MaybeWolverine I was accepted February 16th and got mine mid March, but I’m an international student from India so it probably won’t be as long for you

Last time I checked the housing form the only stuff available in on North campus

Anyone still waiting to hear back. My last materials were collected March 1st

Has anyone received their decision from Ross yet?

Hey, guys. I don’t know about you all, but I got my email regarding my decision on my transfer application to Ross at 5pm 6/22. I got in! Did everyone get their decision?

Does Michigan publish an acceptance rate for Transfer applicants? If so, does anyone know what the rate is for COE? I am guessing COE is higher because they probably have a number of students drop, but I am not sure.

Email Mr Betts at the end and look up requirements for transfer Vs cross campus transfer

@Jess47 The GPA is a bit low, but it depends on the school too. A 3.41 at MIT would be fine. What was your ACT/SAT? Are you applying to LSA? What is your intended major?

Prospective Winter 2019 LSA Transfer with a 3.7 GPA, 42 credits (32 from freshman year + 10 ap/dual enrollment), I’ll be taking 15 in the fall – do I have a chance? Also when applying to they take into consider credits completed at time of application or time of enrollment if you were to be accepted?

I am looking into las for Michigan Ann Arbor

lsa sorry

I am applying for winter transfer for las to University of Michigan Ann Arbor.I have a 3.41 gpa , with 30 credits…I am currently taking 16 extra credit this fall semester.I have a good letter of reccomendation and super passionate essay .What army chances of getting in

Hi Everyone,
Im currently a HS senior in Ann Arbor and want to get into Michigan for Information Science. I goofed off during my freshman, sophomore and junior years which cullinated in a 3.3 GPA and a 1300 SAT score. I know that with these current statistics, I have no chance of getting in. But what I plan to do is that the IS program at Michigan is a two year program and not a four year so I will go to a local community college for 2 years and get all the prerequisites required to enter the School of Information. Hopefully my improved grades in CC will show Michigan that I have become serious about my future and allow me to get accepted. Im also part of the full IB program at my school and plan to get the IB diploma. I have case of Cerebral Palsy and qualify for the M GoBlue Guarantee which is the main reason why I want to go to michigan. What do you all think of my plan?

I’m applying for transfer for lsa. I have 3.51 with 45 credits from union college in ny. I got a 32 on my Act and diverse extra curriculars. What are my chances of getting in?
