Anything yet?

My niece was deferred from EA to RD and her acceptance was posted in her portal yesterday

Congrats to your niece! Do you know what major she’s in for?

She applied to Health Sciences but was admitted to Undeclared Health and Human Services.

Anyone hear any further from UNH?

Nope. Hope to hear soon but worried the longer we wait D24 deferred to RD from EA is going to end in rejection.

I fear the same. And DS is almost in the same boat as you with UVM. Except waitlist or do Europe program first.

But I also don’t necessarily think it means that. UNH came out the day before break in December. Their break is next week. Maybe they just come out friday.

I think if UNH offers her a fall start she may lean towards enrolling there.

Nothing here yet either :frowning: I had my son reach out to his regional counselor again since she was the one who said they were trying to get decisions out at the end of last week. Still keeping all of our fingers and toes crossed for our kiddos!!

Also…this is weird. It seems like they didn’t get enough applications. They are extending the application deadline?

Applications are up about 25% versus last year. The regular decision deadline extension was done after the outcry on the FAFSA delays.

Ok, interesting, thank you for the context!

Our son did too, but for Undeclared, not Mechanical Engineering…super bummed. I hope he still considers it :crossed_fingers:

Don’t hesitate to reach out to admissions on this. I can also tell you it is relatively straightforward to move into CEPS.

Ok, thank you! He’s honestly dragging his feet on making a decision all around, so maybe a more general major is the right choice. So hard to decide at 17!
