<p>I don’t know what “religious type EC” refers to, but I have never heard this from an ND adcom. I wouldn’t think any type/category of EC would be given preference over others. Adcoms simply want to see applicants are involved in their community and making an impact.</p>
<p>There are many rumors that ND favors athletes over non-athletes, but this is denied by adcoms. However, sports are an EC that is straightforward to evaluate - a varsity athlete typically has a minimum of 20 hours/week involvement for 15 weeks/year in-season.</p>
