University of Waterloo, any Canadians here? :)

<p>I don’t know much about business in general but I am aware that (although you probably don’t wanna hear this) UW isn’t exactly famed for it’s business programs. That being said I have a couple friends who have applied to the AFM and they’re all more than qualified. </p>

<p>Generally I’ve found that Canadian universities tend to focus more on your marks. I applied to 4 schools and only 2 of them asked for any additional info. Waterloo’s supplement was the most concise (bear in mind I didn’t apply to Queen’s or Western) and it was the only form that asked if there were any extenuating circumstances that affected my academic record. Cause I had something to say for that I really paid attention to whether or not the forms asked this.</p>

<p>Being from the US they’re more likely to look at more things such as SATs and APs so that they get a feel for achievements in a standardized context. This goes along with your high school grades of course and probably a school profile too…</p>
