so for afm it isn’t highly competitive they take about 300 students
marks should be of the mid to high 80s but if you really wanna get in a ninety is safe
they like it if you participate in their math contest euclid
it breaks down into 2 streams of financial management and public accounting
i would say if you are planning to focus on accounting for sure waterloo is the best because it fast tracks you and focuses on accounting a lot more than queens and western
for queens, if you were to go into accounting their is actually a 5 week boot camp at the end of 4th year where you have to crunch in a bunch of courses to be able to graduate
and for waterloo if you want to take your CA designation test in canada you can skip the first 2 exams and only take the third. (:
UWO is very renowned but the thing is people think they’re in the ivey program after admissions but actually there is an application process in end of 2nd year for the actualy ivey program, western takes about 2/3 of their own 2nd years and also 1/3 from other schools. but they recruit a lot from big banks but waterloo recruits from the big 4 (kpmg, pwc, ernest and young, deloitte)
