It may have been posted hours after decisions hit the portals.
I’ve lost track of portal astrology … are any of these things a sign:
(1) getting to job postings - is everyone seeing that? or are some getting error messages?
(2) SSN entry page asking for SSN - was this anything? or just for people who aren’t submitting a FAFSA?
(3) seeing scholarships - this is nothing; admissions website says "Do not wait until you have been admitted to apply for scholarships. "
(4) changing birthday - this was an everybody glitch. Weird, but meaningless.
(5) number of rectanges on the homepage (8 or 12) - did we decide this was whether or not someone did a prior program at UW and was already in the system?
What else am I missing?
Portal was moving pretty slowly … maybe they are updating things?
#5 I can 100% confirm that the number of tiles is not indicative of anything at this point. Long story short, because my son was classified as a “special student” at UW for some camps/classes, etc. he has a different portal setup – part of it looks like an admitted student and part looks like a freshman applicant. I didn’t realize this until hearing that wasn’t “normal”.

No announcement from them, but most educated guesses say Friday the 26th in early evening.(lol our kids seem to have applied to a lot of the same schools)
They posted saying congrats on the 28th and decisions were released on the 27th. They do not post before saying when they will come out

anyone send in 7th semester grades?.. no self reporting SRAR … but I can use Parchment.
grades are in line with current GPA…

has access to Doodle tile and yourname@wisc.edu email address in the profile been shot down too?

S24 doesn’t have a Doodle tile in the applicant homepage, but he can log into Wisconsin Doodle and it shows an @wisc.edu email for him. However he’s not authorized for other apps like Box, Canvas, or G suite.
My guess is the Doodle access is available to anyone with a wisc.edu email while the others require you to be in their system.
What is doodle tile?
So far nobody has found a tell.

It’s just one of the tile options you can add to your myUW dashboard homepage. Not a tile in the student center.
CC should start ranking colleges on how well they avoid clues in their portal. Maybe call it a “Portal Fu Rank” or “Portal Astrology Power Rank”.

If you think our attempts are portal astronomy are fun … someone on the U of Maryland board found a clue that involves looking at the html code on the portal. But apparently it only works a day or two before release. I tried it on the WI portal and it didn’t work.
