That is ridiculously inaccurate if talking about UW for 2027. They were admitting off the waitlist last year even before May 1st hit and regularly all the way through the end of June. Lots of kids got off the waitlist including my son, his roommate and at least twenty people I met at orientation. Just look at the 2027 page and you will see. Now most were OOS

The 11 off the waitlist is for Fall 2022 according to their CDS data. They haven’t made the data for Fall 2023 public yet.

That is a prior year dataset. Both Michigan and Wisconsin heavily used their waitlists last year but the Common Data Set has not been released for the entering class of 2023

I’m able to sign into the UW library and reserve a book.

My son can log in to the library, but if he tries to checkout equipment or Loans & Requests he gets this:

You are not yet eligible to make a SOAR reservation. The most common reasons include:

  • You have not yet been admitted into UW-Madison
  • You have not yet paid your enrollment deposit to the Office of Admissions and Recruitment in MyUW
  • Your enrollment deposit payment has not finished processing (takes 24-48 hours to process)
  • For students who deferred their enrollment: Your admission record has not been updated to the upcoming term.

Anyone log into the MyUW page? It has Profile tab, Course Selections tab, student center, advising resources tab, voting and my bookmarks.

I have no idea what I logged into
 Thought I was going to normal portal must have used wrong link.

That is the regular portal to access your application. Nothing is abnormal!
