<p>Thank you for the information. Our son is an EA admit and we were extremely pleased to see that he received a University Honors Scholarship at the $10K level. However, there is still a large gap between this award plus his initial need-based package vs. what we can honestly afford and we hope he can attend his dream school. We have a few questions:</p>

<li><p>You mentioned that the University offers about 100 of these per year and about 20 College Honors Scholarships (full tuition). Is it possible for a University Honors receipient to get bumped up to the College Honors level? If so, what is the procedure? Or, can we request additional need-based aid? </p></li>
<li><p>You mentioned there is a new $5K level for the University Scholarships. Does that mean that there are still a total of 100 awards ($5K and $10K) or did the university expand the total number of awards?</p></li>
<li><p>About what proportion of these merit scholarships are awarded to EA admits vs. RD admits?</p></li>
