@Paradoxical1 I honestly think you are well-qualified. Your grade point and SAT scores are solid and well within the 25%-75% range. Your ECs are stellar. But this process is so unpredictable and insane in many ways. Did you write strong, personal essays?

I just got two acceptance letters too. Maybe that’s why they took so long.

Guys, the scholarship is “included” in the the acceptance letter? Or you received it in another one?

@tahfoun The scholarship is included in the letter. After it tells you you’ve been accepted it says “I have more good news. You have been named a University of Washington Seattle Purple and Gold Scholar…” and yeah
@Kinglime I got rejected with these stats,
3.4 GPA 1730 SAT, part time running start student, AP classes, EC include Peer tutoring for Chemistry 150+ hours, key club 25 hours which led to countless amount of volunteer hours, set up labs for science department, had a part time job, my Essay was very good and diverse according to the people that read it, worked on it for quite a bit. Honestly I had a lot of faith in an acceptance letter I invested a lot into this school 
I’m not sure on what to do… I’m reading up the guidelines on an appeal and it doesn’t look that bright for me as it says they evaluated carefully and I’m not even sure on what to add anymore
From Nor Cal and got my gold envelope in the mail a few minutes ago!! Also named a Purple and Gold Scholar

I looked through your post history and I saw in one post you thought you didn’t get in.
@Respira My unofficial transcript loaded the first day and my congrats page loaded the first day as well. I was just unsure because I didn’t think I had what it took to get in haha
@ferdinand32 Congratulations! Another friend of mine just received his acceptance in the mail. Nothing in the mail for me. Nothing loading on myUW. I think it’s safe to say I wasn’t accepted. This is all too devastating right now.
@Paradoxical1 Thank you!! And don’t lose hope! I have heard stories of people who have never had anything load on their myUW and they received an acceptance letter in the mail in the last few days of the mailing week. You never know what will happen And even if you do get waitlisted/rejected, I am sure there is another door of endless opportunities waiting for you

It’s just the fact that the plentiful majority of people getting their acceptances in the mail are ones who’ve been able to load their UT’s and view a congratulatory message. I know there is a slim chance, but not being able to load anything while friends in my area are already getting letters is just saddening.
