<p>I grew up with an Uncle Ben. A few years ago his wife started referring to him as Franklin. I thought it was her nickname for him. I asked my mom, and it turns out his real name <em>is</em> Franklin, and Ben was his nickname from childhood - because he was always “inventing” things as a kid. I still think of him as Uncle Ben, even though everyone else is calling him “Frank” these days.</p>

<p>Also a few years back there was a senior in high school in Seattle (I think) named Yale Fan. He got into Harvard and Yale and was trying to decide which one to go to and ultimately decided on Harvard (his loss ;))</p>
