They said it was the coldest day they have had in a 100 years (no idea I’d that is true or not). Just our luck. We had the other extreme last summer during visit to another school it was 103F. They kept trying to assure us it normally not that warm.
I doubt the cold weather will be a deciding factor for him. Really loved the Engineering school. Decision will most likely come down to $ and we are still have not heard anything from Michigan on merit scholarships. We are heading to the Singer/Stamps scholarship weekend at University of Miami in a few weeks. They are further down the list of schools, but if they offer full tuition it may move up, although they are not in the same league as Michigan engineering.
