<p>I’m confused about first choice, though. Can they award me a sort of provisional scholarship- as in, they’ll give me this money provided that I name them as first choice by 5/1? Or will they just promise to do so? (The former is going to carry a lot more weight than the latter, especially with my parents…)</p>
