Updates to Schools' TO policies for Fall 2025

UT Austin to require SAT or ACT and start an Early Action admission program (for 2024-2025 applicants to start fall 2025)

This means that current high school juniors should try to get SAT or ACT testing done soon, in order to have a score ready by the EA deadline of 10/15. At some colleges with EA, the class size or competitive majors tend to fill up in EA, so that RD non-automatic applicants have little chance of admission to the school or competitive majors. Obviously, those who meet the automatic admission criteria and will apply to non-competitive majors should be admitted in RD, but all others should try to apply EA.
