Yeah, so most likely an error. No worries, this techy stuff is very complicated for lots of people and can sometimes be confusing. We just don’t want to mislead other people or start false rumors for future years.

I guess we can conclude that there is no portal astrology here for the benefit of future readers. Let this be a cautionary tale against portal astrology involving HTML/CSS. In web design usually they like to keep things static for all users, even if it means loading unnecessary elements.

Yeah, Penn has been pretty good about patching astro vulnerabilities, it makes sense that they would preload all negative signs and no positive signs so that anyone trying to get their decision early gets at best nothing and at worst negative feedback

Did everyone’s portal close off? Mine only displays a message saying when decisions are released and that is it, no application checklist.

did the “applicant_status” code disappear for you guys? ik we said it’s not reliable but there’s no code in there anymore (using inspect element)
I still have code, they just removed all mentions of “decision_faq” and made the code much longer
i had to refresh for it to show — disregard this future readers
