guys we have a problem i havent slept because i am stressed and now my eyes are really really red and my teacher thinks im on drugs so omg help
why is yours different?
@tchung100 Throwawaydeeznuts is applying to Cornell, which releases decisions on the 8th!
UPDATE: I just called the Penn admissions office, and they said decision day will be around the 15th…,
@saltator17 I was also trying to figure out if I was the only one who haven’t received confirmation letter and your comment definitely makes me feel much comfortable. I hope we both can be accepted to UPenn and ask PFAS about our FA application materials!
Oh man. I’m still going to hope for the 9th but realistically prepare myself for the 16th so I won’t be too upset if it isn’t the 9th:(
It’s not to bad. It’s only 13 days until December 16th. I think we can do it!
Judging by the fact that last year emails were sent out on 8th and decisions 11th, I was assuming for us would be 9th. Idek anymore. Cry.
@skiing26 I relate with you on a spiritual level
Hey, the 9th is technically around the 15th right? Haha, I’m still going to pray for the 9th.
HAHAHA omg we are so sad
this is actually so sad that we are the last ivy to get a date and they still haven’t told us
I’m just saying that them saying “around the 15th” is te same as saying “mid-December” so could still be earlier
@slb2299 you are right! That’s a good analysis
Do you think connections with admissions officers and extra recommendations from alum help at all?
@slb2299 what’s the connection? As for recs from alums probably not
@AF500 reps coming to my school and speaking with my head of upper school (an alum) and college counselor about me and continuous contact with admissions officer for a while and that stuff like that
BTW, Upenn’s street cred is going to shoot through the roof because of Trump’s Presidency Yeet
@AF500 and the reps spoke specifically about me and not any other students from my school and did things like that
@slb2299 Depends on the length and quality of contact with admissions officer, they speak to a lot of prospective students, many of which follow up and try and keep in contact with hopes it’ll boost their chances.
