guys, i know were all tired of speculation but last year the announcement came 10 days before the actual decisions did. assuming our decisions will be out on the 16th, maybe the announcement will come tomorrow?
@seanelle Penn evaluates ALL early decision applicants. No idea why you think they would defer applicants because they didn’t have time to review them. It doesn’t happen! They reject the majority of ED applicants and typically defer a slightly smaller percent than they accept.
Guys I am freaking out… So as a hobby I do coding and stuff and I was inspecting the portal page with the “inspect element thing” out of curiosity, and It said I could change the padding on one of the text boxes, and I changed it to 80px instead of 40px and it actually changed. I quickly changed it back but do you think they will notice?! I read something about how a bunch of MIT kids hacked admissions to find our their statuses early and they all got rejected
@sajeunesse I doubt it means anything. Probably just don’t add any extra stress for yourself. (:

Does anyone want to do some twitter stalking and see how many days before decisions penn tweeted the date for years besides last year to see if there’s a pattern or something

@sajeunesse haha no they won’t even know about that. Changing things in inspect element only changes just YOUR view of the website. You can do that on any website and it doesn’t actually change anything. If you refresh the page, all your changes will revert back to how it was

@ajs123 because they hacked the website, someone posted how to online and they all followed the directions. So some of them were accepted by then got rejected
