@kcasssuu @MaybeHarvard2022 I know Penn used to send likely letters to everyone until 2-3 years back but I think it may have stopped since.
I applied to Wharton for finance and actuarial science but I was reading yesterday about students who got 34-36 on their act and were rejected
now Iâm really stressing out!!
@erinward19 they were rejected because admissions look beyond test scores.
@MaybeHarvard2022 Donât get me wrong, I definitely know that but many of them had a long list of extra curriculars with leadership positions and felt confident about their essays and interviews. It just adds another layer of stress to know that such great candidates still get rejected.
iâm trying hard not to dwell. thereâs nothing we can do anymore but wait. Currently expecting rejection so that i can either be right or pleasantly surprised.
Does anyone know when decisions will come out?
@IntApp2022 March 28th, not sure about time of day
@IntApp2022 @musicandscience all ivies will release at 5PM ET
@musicandscience @MaybeHarvard2022 Did you get an email about it?
@IntApp2022 no, itâs just a known fact.
@MaybeHarvard2022 Oh okay. I was just hoping it might be a bit earlier
How did you learn of this âknown factâ?
@HamilFan , it has been the same every single year and has been coined âIvy Dayâ by most students, which is probably what @MaybeHarvard2022 is referring to. All Ivies release regular decisions on the same day in March at the same time. The past few years it was March 31st at 5pm. This year just happens to be March 28th as the 31st is a Saturday. Hope this helps!
I live in Pennsylvania and havenât been contacted for an interview⊠
Is there any way to check if your school has submitted your mid-year report?
@kassh4 it should come up on the pen portal
Will Penn send out likelies on Monday? Or will they come later?
midyear report doesnt show on the portal @bluemonkey66 @kassh4
@vakilmohit most likely first week of March, though they will probably only go to nursing applicants as in years past.
I was just offered a second Penn(wharton) interview, my first taking place in Nov. for ED.
Is this a normal occurrence?
