<p>Yeah, Wake is further south. I’m from NJ too (Central, Princeton area!), but I’m a transplant from the South. However, a <em>lot</em> of NE kids go to Richmond. I think it’s something you need to experience before you know if it’s for you or not.</p>
<p>The big difference, I think, is how friendly people are down there compared to up here. There’s an emphasis on hospitality. Sometimes the dining hall serves Southern food. Richmond is a big Southern city… We’re known for being preppy, I suppose, but that’s not universal, nor is it a solely Southern thing.</p>
