<p>You can probably transfer into SSOE after a semester. You’d only be behind in one class (programming) which, unless you’re doing COE, isn’t going to really affect you at all. In order to be a strong transfer candidate, take the normal engineering freshman course load (which are actually all through the school or Arts & Sciences): Physics (calc-based), Chem, and Calc. You could also start taking a few electives to help with the breadth & depth requirement.</p>
<p>If you do well in the classes your first semester, you can ask to transfer in for the spring.</p>
